Here at Diabetic Support Program, we like to put a lot of time and effort into brightening others days’. One of the ways we are able to do this is by being active with The Little Smiles Organization. “Little Smiles” is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides toys, games, DVD’s, computers, VIP outings, celebrity meet and greets, concert, sporting event tickets, theme park tickets, fun food runs, nerf gun wars and much, much more…for children in local hospitals, hospices and shelters. We pride ourselves on being local, immediate, and hands on.

In order to support such a wonderful cause the Diabetic Support Program provides snacks for their “Junk Food” drive once a year, attends many Little Smiles events throughout the year and has an annual visit to the Palms West Hospital. At the hospital visit Diabetic Support Program provides all the children in hospital with Nerf balls and Nerf guns to play with. And not only do we drop them off personally, we also stay and play for the day.

It is always a good thing to put a smile on someones face, it’s even better when you get to see it!
